A catalogue of council planning enforcement delays has led to anger across Nuneaton and Bedworth . Locals in both Hawkesbury and Weddington say they have been waiting for months for the council to take developers to task.

Hawkesbury Village Community Association members said they reported five clear breaches of section 106 obligations given to developers seven months ago - and they are still awaiting action. Councillor Michele Kondakor said that developments in Weddington have been left with no connection paths, in two cases with the non existent links being 'hedges and ditches'.

Both the councillor and members of the Hawkesbury Village Community Association raised their concerns about the lack of action from the council's planning enforcement team at a full council meeting. Cllr Ton
