After the 2025 EuroBasket semifinal win of Turkey over Greece, Alperen Sengun revealed that he had promised his teammate Ercan Osmani a rolex watch if he held Giannis Antetokounmpo below 20 points.

Almost a week afterward, Sengun delivered his promise. The Houston Rockets star posted a photo of him giving the rolex to Osmani on his Instagram with the caption, “Promises kept.”

Antetokounmpo scored a personal EuroBasket low 12 points (6-13 shots) in the 94 – 68 loss to Turkey in the semifinal. He was averaging 29.8 points in the tournament until that game.

While Osmani was the focal player of Turkey’s defense against Giannis, constant double-teaming and triple-teaming disrupted the action of the “Greek Freak” while the “12 Giant Men” advanced to the Final for the first time in 25 years,
