THIS is the horror moment massive wildfires engulfed a Turkish holiday hotspot - forcing tourists to evacuate from hotels.

More than 800 firefighters are currently fighting to tackle the blaze that broke out in a forested area in the Alanya district of Antalya.

Footage shows raging flames engulfing what looks like a holiday resort near a river in the town of Belek.

Trees were seen burning as locals filmed the scene in horror.

Turkish media reports that a fire broke out on Saturday evening in the Kundu district near Antalya, where popular tourist hotels are located.

Firefighters confirmed that the fire then spread to the provinces of Mugla and Aydin because of strong winds.
