MIDDLETOWN – The Hodgson football team scored just eight points in its first two games.

The Silver Eagles added 44 to that total in game three.

That was more than enough to knock off sixth-ranked Sussex Central 44-34 on a sunny afternoon at St. Georges, highlighting the Sept. 20 games in Delaware high school football.
