Western North Carolina has wrapped up Week 5 of high school football. Despite a smaller schedule of games with weather delays and open weeks, plenty of stars had standout games.

Braylon Thompson, Brevard: Thompson rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries in a 34-28 overtime win over Franklin.
