ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — One play kept social media buzzing long past the Bills' 31-21 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen was credited by the NFL with a fumble on the final play of the first half. It happened when he muffed the snap while in a victory formation, with the score tied during a prime-time game at Highmark Stadium.

But the Miami Dolphins are asking the NFL about what happened after that muffed snap, when it appeared that Allen took a knee and tossed the ball to a referee, sending both teams into the locker room for halftime, tied at 14.
