Dear Care and Feeding,
I have always been neutral to negative about the idea of having kids. I don’t feel called to it. I like my freedom. But now, at 27, I am DEEPLY in love with a man who does want kids, though not for a long time yet. We’ve talked about it; he knows how I feel.
I can’t emphasize enough how much of a walking green flag this man is. I would do anything for him. Is it crazy that I’m considering compromising my stance on having children? I don’t mean in the sense that I would do it so he would stay. It’s more so that I want to give him the gift of being a father, because I know it will make him happy.
