(NewsNation) — President Donald Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan called reports he took a bribe “bull—" Saturday evening in response to a question from NewsNation about the allegations.
The reaction came after reports surfaced alleging he took a $50,000 bribe from undercover FBI agents in November to help get government contracts awarded if Trump were elected president. MSNBC and The New York Times reported the allegation.
The report said Homan suggested that he could help the agents win government contracts in the second Trump administration. The FBI and Department of Justice waited to see if Homan would fulfill his promise, but the case eventually stalled, and the case was closed after Trump won the election.
