Police have launched an appeal after a man died near a Midlands shopping centre.

Officers responded to reports a man had been found seriously injured at a car park in Redditch , Worcestershire , yesterday evening (September 20).

Emergency services including West Mercia Police were called to Car Park 2 on Silver Street at around 5.25pm.

Sadly the man who aged in his 30s was pronounced dead the scene.

His death is not being treated as suspicious but officers are appealing for witnesses.

Detective Inspector Lisa Tibbits said: "First and foremost our thoughts are with the family of the man who has sadly died.
