BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Sunday will be a wet start for most of us. Hopefully you are getting to see that rain where you live! There is a marginal risk of severe weather with these storms. We will keep you updated.

SUNDAY: Morning showers will clear out, leading to a mostly cloudy sky this afternoon. Very small risk for severe weather. The main threats are locally heavy downpours and occasionally some gusty winds. Highs in the upper 80s.

MONDAY: Scattered storms possible with some that may be severe. Highs near 90 degrees.

LOOKING AHEAD: Rain chances continue through the week, and into next weekend. Total rainfall amounts will vary, but some may see upwards of 2 inches of rain. This will hopefully help the severe drought situation that a lot of us are in.
