Former Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz will make NFL history on Sunday.

Wentz will become the first quarterback to start for six different teams in six consecutive seasons. Wentz is slated to start for the Vikings against the Bengals at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Wentz, the Eagles’ No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 draft, last started for the Eagles in 2020. After Jalen Hurts’ emergence, Wentz was traded to the Colts and started for Indianapolis in 2021.

The Colts traded Wentz to the Commanders, who he started for in 2022. Wentz was cut and bounced around, spot starting for the Chiefs and Rams in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Now, Wentz will start for the Vikings while J.J. McCarthy recovers from a high-ankle sprain.
