Strictly Come Dancing’s Thomas Skinner has vowed that he ‘won't be cancelled’ just hours after his debut on the BBC programme.

Fans of the season flocked to their TV screens on Saturday night (September 20) as Strictly returned with a pre-recorded launch show.

It was revealed towards the end of the evening that Former Apprentice star Thomas was paired with fan favourite dancer Amy Dowden .

Amy is making her return to the programme after she was forced to pull out last year, when she was paired with JLS’ JB Gill, due to picking up a foot injury.

The 35-year-old previously underwent treatment for breast cancer and shared her diagnosis publicly after being given the news in May 2023.
