Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden has said that Thomas Skinner is ‘really lovely’ in a message to her fans.

The professional dancer made her return to the dancefloor on Saturday night (September 20) for the BBC series’ launch show.

Amy was on the annual series after she was forced to pull out last year, when she was paired with JLS’ JB Gill, due to picking up a foot injury.

Prior to this, the 35-year-old underwent treatment for breast cancer and shared her diagnosis publicly after being given the news in May 2023.

Having undergone a single mastectomy before having chemotherapy treatment, Amy announced she had ‘no evidence of disease’ following tests and later returned for Strictly's 20th-anniversary series before getting injured.
