An urgent police search has been launched to trace a man who is wanted on recall to prison.

Daniel Edwards, 32, has links to the Hulme, Moss Side, Chorlton, Wigan and Oldham areas of Greater Manchester, police said in a public appeal.

Suspects can be taken back to prison if they have been released on licence or parole and if they break the rules of their probation.

A mugshot of Edwards was shared as part of the appeal. Anyone with information is being urged to get in touch with the force immediately.
