Birmingham City’s three-game wait for a victory and a goal ended on Saturday thanks to Lyndon Dykes’ latest late show against Swansea City.

The Scottish striker stepped off the bench in the 87th minute to power home a header from fellow substitute Patrick Roberts’ cross in stoppage time.

In doing so, Dykes sent St Andrew’s into delirium and eased the pain of successive away defeats in the league to Leicester City and Stoke.
