ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County sheriffs are investigating a deputy-involved shooting that happened Saturday night. BCSO says around 8:43 p.m., deputies responded to an alarm activation at a business on the 6000 block of 2nd Street NW, between Osuna and Griegos.
While they investigated the alarm, they say they encountered a man on the property. At some point, a deputy-involved shooting occurred. One individual was shot and died on the scene. No deputies were injured.
A multi-agency task force is now taking over the investigation. News 13 will provide updates as they become available.
