ELMIRA HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WENY) — Pop culture and comic book enthusiasts got together at the Elmira Heights American Legion on September 21 for a Halloween Pop Market. The event was filled with Funko POPs, comics, crafts, and everything in between.

Guests had the opportunity to meet creators and artists from the local community and beyond, including a team of creators working on a movie adaptation of their comic.

People there said events like this are about more than celebrating different creators and fandoms. They said its a great way to connect with other people and share ideas with one another.
