The New Orleans Saints were trailing the Seattle Seahawks 38-3 with three seconds to go in the second quarter, and Saints coach Kellen Moore decided to attempt a field goal.

The Saints were on the cusp of scoring their first touchdown of the game after driving down to the Seahawks 5-yard line, but Moore sent out Saints kicker Blake Grupe for a 23-yard field goal attempt rather than taking a shot at the end zone.

Grupe's kick was good as time expired to end the first half, which cut the Seahawks lead to 38-6, but Moore's decision to not go for the touchdown was met with criticism on social media.
