The cost of buying a home here has seen significant increases over the past decade, but for the time being, the market appears stable, experts say.
That doesn't mean prices won't keep going up, but that's a sign that buying a home now will be a good investment.
Laura Garner, owner of the ERA Summit Agency, said that it can be seen as a seller's market or a buyer's market, depending on the house and the asking price.
"It is a strong, stable market," Garner said. "So many of the numbers when we compare July and August have stayed very, very similar, so you know the amount of inventory, the number of sales. The days on the market have slowly increased, but just barely. One of the things that does continue to increase is our average sales price and our median sales pric
