Hurricane Gabrielle Forms this Afternoon and Will Rapidly Intensify | Rainy Fall Start in Central Florida
Not a bad way to wrap up the last day of summer, as we're finishing off your weekend with dry conditions today in Central Florida. Highs returned to the upper eighties and lower nineties, under sunshine this afternoon. Unfortunately, rain chances will be increasing tomorrow as a moist airmass settles into the region. That combined with onshore flow will increase your chance for afternoon showers tomorrow with the higher chance for showers will be south and east of I-4. Monday highs will return to the lower nineties once again, so it appears summer temperatures will be sticking around to start the fall season.
