LYMAN, Maine — The York County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian in Lyman Sunday afternoon.
Dominic Small, 28, of Lyman, was walking east in the area of 2277 Alfred Street when a 2017 Ford Focus that was also traveling east hit him, York County Sheriff William King said in a press release. The crash happened at around 2 p.m.
The car was being driven by a 37-year-old man from Old Orchard Beach, the press release said.
Small died enroute to Maine Medical Center, King said.
Deputies are still investigating what happened. The Kennebunk Police Department is reconstructing the crash.
