Volney, N.Y. — A home in Oswego County was damaged by a two-alarm fire Sunday afternoon.

The fire at 2703 State Route 3 in the town of Volney was reported at about 1:50 p.m.

Firefighters found flames coming through the home’s roof when they arrived, according to a Facebook post from the Volney Volunteer Fire Corp.

It took about 30 minutes to put out the fire, the post said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
