A vigil and march were held Sunday for an 18-year-old who was shot and killed by an ATF agent last week.

Kendric Curtis was an Aliquippa High School student. The shooting happened Thursday night at Linmar Terrace, and that’s where the memorial event started Sunday afternoon. Advertisement

"It's heart-moving to see as many people out here right now for one individual," organizer Tamika Lee said. "A lot of people from the community didn't know who he was, so just to see the amount of people come out here and show their support for him is just really moving."

During the memorial, which was hosted by Beaver County United and other organizations, leaders called for transparency as the community remembered Curtis.
