An animal caretaker was killed by a tiger at a wildlife preserve in Oklahoma over the weekend.
Growler Pines Tiger Preserve confirmed that Ryan Easley was killed during "an accident" involving a tiger under his care at the Hugo, Oklahoma, property on Saturday (September 20) in a statement shared on its Facebook account Sunday (September 22).
"It is with profound sorrow that we confirm the tragic loss of Ryan Easley, who lost his life in an accident involving a tiger under his care at the Growler Pines Tiger Preserve on September 20th, 2025," the organization wrote.
