It’s looking like Seattle will mark the start of fall Monday with drier weather.

After waking up to rain Sunday morning, Seattle is expected to get warmer and drier on Monday and may remain dry for a good portion of the week, said Samantha Borth, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service, on Sunday afternoon.

Tuesday and Wednesday could be warmer, from the mid- to upper-70s and maybe in the 80s in a couple spots, Borth said.

Later this week, the chances of rain might return, potentially late Friday and Saturday. With that could come cooler conditions, with high temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s.
