Residents in the Lehigh Valley should prepare for increasing humidity and a potential for scattered showers as a warm front approaches the region.

The National Weather Service forecast indicates temperatures will climb into the 70s on Monday, with partly sunny skies and light winds shifting from northeast to southeast.

Overnight, cloud cover will increase, with a slight chance of isolated showers developing in the northwestern zones.

Temperatures will drop to the mid-40s to mid-50s overnight.

On Tuesday, a warm front will move through the region, pushing temperatures into the low 80s and increasing moisture. There’s a marginal risk of thunderstorms, with the highest probability northwest of Interstate 95.
