DIGHTON, Mass. (WLNE) — A GoFundMe campaign for the family of a recent high school graduate tragically killed in a Friday night Taunton car crash has far exceeded its goal total in donations.

The campaign was launched to help the family of Savannah Rian Ellis with their finances, according to the GoFundMe campaign page launched by Marc Ellis.

It has so far raised nearly $29,000 from a goal of $16,000 as of Monday morning.

Savannah Rian Ellis was pronounced deceased at the scene of the Tremont Street crash that occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. Friday, according to the Bristol County DA’s office.

The truck in which Ellis was traveling went off the road and crashed into a residence on the street.
