FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - After what feels like an eternity without rain showers, we finally will see some rain throughout this week, albeit scattered showers. Widespread precipitation just does not seem to be the most likely case this week, but each day has at least some chance for rain, so that means everyone will have a chance to get something.
In terms of rain totals throughout the week, about an inch is expected generally speaking, but localized totals will be a bit higher in spots that experience a heavier shower or thunderstorm. Temperatures stay cool this work week with highs in the low to mid 70s, this will be a great official start to fall as we stay seasonal for temperatures through the weekend.
