PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Work on the stalled Revolution Wind project off the Rhode Island coast will start back up for now after a judge sided with its developer in a lawsuit against the Trump administration, which had sought to stop the project.

The ruling in U.S. District Court in Washington allows work on the project to continue while the underlying lawsuit keeps winding its way through the courts, according to a statement from Orsted, the company that is building Revolution Wind.

"Revolution Wind will resume impacted construction work as soon as possible, with safety as the top priority," Orsted said in a statement Monday.
