We are halfway through the regular season of high school football here in Central Florida. Many teams around the state open district play here in week six. Our Game of the Week will be a battle of unbeaten teams when Deland visits Spruce Creek.

The visiting Bulldogs are 5-0 on the season coming off their best defensive performance of the season where they blanked Deltona 39-0. Rick Darlington’s Bulldogs are led by sophomore running back Taihj Moore who is averaging over 120 yards per game on the ground with 10 touchdowns.

Spruce Creek also boasts a 5-0 record so far this season, as they were able to take down Titusville 29-22 last Friday night. Hawks senior wide receiver Cameron Oxendine has had a hot start to the year averaging 133 receiving yards per game and has found the endzone six
