80s television legend, Johnny Ball, has opened up over his battle with cancer - three years on from his diagnosis.

The famous father of radio host, Zoe Ball, has revealed he was first told he had prostate cancer back in August 2022.

He shared how he is now "through it" declaring "I'm fine."

The 87-year-old added: “I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August 2022 and, thankfully, after three months of daily radiation treatment, starting in the September, I’m through it, I’m fine.”

Johnny acknowledged how "lucky" he has been to survive the diagnosis, describing how some of his own friends had died from the disease.
