Jasper Police are investigating after items were stolen from a boat at a business. It happened Saturday at the Dover Exxon Fleet Fueling Station at 2080 South Wheeler Street.

The report said the owner, Wade Dover, told police that his boat was parked under a shed and someone stole two fuel tanks and a battery. Dover said the total loss was about $850.00.

The case has been turned over to detectives and remains under investigation.
