OBERLIN, La. (KALB) - An Oberlin man has been arrested for 10 counts of arson, according to the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF).

Crews responded to multiple arson fires on September 15 in the Hwy 26 area, both along the highway and in the woods nearby.

Bradley Montou, 67, was identified as the suspect after witnesses said they saw a man walking along the road where the fires had been set. Montou was later spotted entering the woods and setting more fires.

An LDAF enforcement agent and a detective from the Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Montou on the above charges. He was booked into the Allen Parish Jail with bond set at $75,000.
