Two key players for Alabama have yet to play a single down of football for the Crimson Tide in the 2025 season due to injury. On Saturday against No. 5 Georgia, both players are expected to get their first bit of playing time since their injuries.

The Alabama offense will have some extra juice in the running game with the return of last year’s leading rusher Jam Miller.

"I do expect him to go," DeBoer said. "He practiced yesterday. Been building up the last week, his volume, and so expect him to play."

Miller, who was selected to the Preseason All-SEC team, will provide more experience to a young talented running back room. In his absence, the Crimson Tide's offense struggled to develop a significant rushing attack, and the Georgia defense will be the toughest Alabama has faced.
