NEWTON, N.C. (QUEEN CUTY NEWS) -- The Catawba County government website continues to be down Monday evening.

The county has the website has been offline since at least 4 p.m. Visitors attempting to reach the site are met with a message saying:

“We will be back! Catawba County website is temporarily offline for maintenance.”

Other specific pages like for the sheriff’s office give a 404 error.
