LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln man accused of setting a vacant home and golf course shed on fire in Lincoln earlier this year was sentenced Monday to 26 to 31 years in prison.
Cory Cramm, 36, of Lincoln, pled no contest on Aug. 20 in Lancaster County District Court to two counts of second-degree arson, burglary, possession of a destructive device, and attempts of a Class 4 felony.
He was initially arrested on March 27 for two counts of second-degree arson while already in the Lancaster County Jail on an unrelated drug charge.
Authorities say Cramm set fire to a vacant home near Northwest 56th and West Holdrege streets on Jan. 2, causing $350,000 in damage. The owner of the home told authorities that the house was unoccupied at the time and had primarily been used for storage.
