CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Cedar Falls community leaders dedicated the newly renovated Seerley Park with a celebration that included an evening of jazz music.

The jazz performances, part of the annual Jazz Festival, marked their fourth year at the park, now featuring a new performance gazebo. The city also invested in an ADA-accessible playground, contributing to the park's renovations.

Chris Martin, a board member of the College Hill Partnership and a subcommittee member involved in the park's renovations, said they worked on improving the park for seven years. Martin expressed excitement about the park's future uses.

The city spent $500,000 on the park's enhancements, aiming to provide a versatile space for the community.
