Scattered showers and storms will be ongoing early Tuesday for parts of west Tennessee and northeastern Arkansas. As daytime heating increases toward lunchtime and early afternoon, higher instability could allow some of this activity to strengthen to severe limits at times through the afternoon and evening.

The primary threat locally will be damaging wind gusts and large hail. The Weather Experts will be on top of it as usual, so be sure to check in for updates throughout the day.
