JACKSON, Mich, (WLNS) -- President Donald Trump and members of his administration held a press conference Monday suggesting a rise in autism cases could be attributed to Tylenol, a claim many experts nationwide and here in Mid-Michigan say are unproven.
Dr. KV Rao, a Jackson-area pediatrician with more than 50 years of experience says all medicines have risks and side effects.
"When you cross the road, you know some vehicle can hit you, even If it is extremely minimal. But I think nothing has been proven," Rao said.
He says Tylenol side effects respond like any other medication for pain, and risks are based on consumption.
