HILLMAN — The Hillman High School Sports Hall of Fame is proud to announce the 12th class to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

This year’s class consists of two football All-Staters who also participated in multiple sports and a female athlete who was All-State in softball and a Miss Softball Candidate. The honorees are Mike Hamilton, Maci Schook, and Jason Weiland.

The athletes will be inducted in a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 4.

Mike Hamilton

Mike Hamilton graduated in 1967 and was UPI All-State Honorable Mention, as well as All-State Honorable Mention Detroit Free Press in Football during the 1966 season. A North Star League Dream Team selection and a Golden Helmet Award winner, Hamilton earned varsity letters in football, basketball, track, and baseball. He was also a member of the
