ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - More than 1,000 pounds of methamphetamine were seized in two separate drug busts in DeKalb County, according to Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) officials.
Three people, immigrants from Mexico, were charged in the first drug bust. In the second operation, two others were also arrested.
The men arrested were:
Wilber Castellanos Villazana
Yamilet Calixto Sotelo
Jorge Lorenzo Manzanarez
Esteban Jacobo-Suarez
Damien Gomez-Guijarro
Jacobo-Suarez, DEA officials said, was a “twice-deported” man from Mexico.
Villazana, Sotelo and Manzanarez are believed to have entered the United States illegally, according to the DEA.
All of the suspects were charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. The suspects are in federal custody
