Geddes, N.Y. -A 38-year-old Syracuse man has been charged in connection with shootings at the Lakeside fire hall that injured five people last month, Geddes police announced Tuesday

Wilfredo Lopez-Ramos was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, reckless endangerment, assault and menacing, according to a Geddes Police Department news release. He was arrested Tuesday morning, according to jail records.

He is the second person charged in the shootings in late August.

Kelvin Rivera-DeJesus, 29, of Syracuse, was charged after he shot himself in the leg in a struggle over a firearm with other bystanders, police said. He was charged with criminal weapon possession

Four other people were injured in the shootings:
