OLYMPIA, Wash. — Hikers and outdoorspeople looking to enjoy Washington State Parks will have to pay more for a Discover Pass starting this October.
According to Washington State Parks, the price of a Discover Pass will increase from $30 to $45, a $15 increase, starting October 1, 2025. The pass allows you to park and visit parks and lands in Washington State operated by the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife and the Washington Department of Natural Resources.
The price increase comes after legislation was passed in April and signed into law by Washington Governor Bob Ferguson in May.
