A gripping five-part thriller is heading to Channel 5 , boasting a stellar cast spearheaded by Slow Horses star Joanna Scanlan.

The network has revealed details of its latest drama Missed Call, crafted by Pernel Media alongside ITV Studios.

Missed Call chronicles a "compelling and perilous race against time", centring on Sarah, a lone parent portrayed by Joanna, whose existence spirals into turmoil when her daughter Katie vanishes during a school exchange programme.
