A new five-part thriller, Missed Call, is coming to Channel 5 , starring Joanna Scanlan of Slow Horses fame. ‌

The details of the upcoming TV drama, produced by Pernel Media in association with ITV Studios, have been unveiled by the broadcaster. ‌

Missed Call spins a tale of a "gripping and dangerous race against time", centring on Sarah, a single mother portrayed by Joanna, whose life spirals into chaos when her daughter Katie disappears during a school exchange. ‌

The release date for the series, which features Joanna alongside Sherlock's Rupert Graves, Vise le Coeur's Claire Keim, Sherwood's Robert Lindsay and François-Xavier Demaison from Disparue, is yet to be announced.
