The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) troopers say a motorcycle rider was flown to a local hospital on Tuesday morning after crashing into a truck.
It happened shortly after 7:00am on Highway 136.
The GSP says the driver of a Ford F-450 that was carrying a trailer was turning left into a home as the rider was trying to pass another vehicle.
The rider also tried to pass the truck but laid the bike down and hit the truck’s undercarriage.
The GSP says the rider ended up wedged beneath the truck.
The rider, whose name has not been released, was taken to Erlanger.
No other injuries were reported by the GSP.
The investigation is ongoing.
