Hamilton police are looking to identify a suspect wanted for hate-motivated graffiti in the area of James Street North and Murray Street West.

Police were called Sept. 11 after the graffiti was discovered on a business, police said in a press release. Surveillance video captured the suspect spray-painting a Nazi swastika on a brick wall.

It is being investigated as a hate crime.

The suspect is described as a man, with a medium build and facial hair. At the time of the incident, he wore a light-coloured, long-sleeve shirt with a number on the front.
