LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The Clark County coroner has released the latest number for heat-related deaths in 2025 so far.
In August , the coroner reported 114 deaths in the county. Monday, officials say 191 people have died with heat as a factor so far this year. The coroner says 90% of cases take up to 90 days to investigate the cause and manner of death.

Officials say people could be more susceptible to heat if under the influence of drugs and other contributing factors, such as illnesses or medical conditions.
