The Oklahoma State football team fired head coach Mike Gundy on Tuesday, the university announced. OSU sideline reporter Robert Allen of PokesReport.com first reported the news.

Gundy has served as OSU's head coach since 2005. The three-time Big 12 Coach of the Year winner led the Cowboys to one conference championship and 12 bowl wins throughout his 21 seasons at the helm.
