FB Financial Corp. has named local banking industry veteran Clayton “Clay” Hart head of Nashville, senior vice president.

In a release, the Nashville-based parent company of FirstBank said Hart will oversee commercial banking and private wealth management. In his new role, he is responsible for increasing clients, revenue, market share and profitability in the Nashville market, which also includes Franklin, Brentwood, Hendersonville and Murfreesboro.

Reporting to Michael Mettee, chief operating officer and chief financial officer, Hart joins FirstBank after a roughly 7.5-year stint at Pinnacle Financial Partners, where he most recently served as executive vice president and led that bank’s private wealth group.
